Satya

Wild

I believe in the wild plants’ ability to take care of themselves, to teach me what they need by where they choose to plant themselves, with whom they choose to associate. I believe in their ability to teach me how to deal with the less-than-ideal–heat, dry weather, discomfort in general, and to teach me when to let go, how to let go, when to set seed, when to die back.

And, finally, to teach me to understand, at the end of the season, what a relief it will be to retreat, letting the world take care of itself for a while.
